On 8th & 9th March, 2011, QPAC eagerly conducted its 1st Public Program at “The Masterpiece” Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The topic for the training was “Professional Office Management” and all the participants from various companies attended this 2 day program specially conducted by our very own CEO, Ms Maria Rufina.
Everyone specially enjoyed the atmosphere as it was an open space concept overlooking a lushes green garden. The program started off with an ice breaking session as the participants were asked to bring out their inner artistic talent to introduce each one of them . This was followed by a series of activities which focused on Record & Filing, ProPak –Management Tool, Personality Profile etc.
On the 2nd day, the participants were asked to share their work experiences and try to solve any problem they were facing.
The program ended very well and all participants were glad that they attended it as they learned how to handle employee personalities, how to work with their bosses and organizing the office documents for easy retrieval.
On 5th March 2011, Saturday (9.00-5.00pm), QPAC Business Consultant successfully conducted a 1 day training program for “ Customer Service for Front Liners” .
The venue was at CitiPoint, Kompleks Dayabumi, Kuala Lumpur. All 26 participants from KLCC Urus Sdn Bhd participated in the program which involved attending to customers in their working environment.
Training was conducted in a fun type classroom environment, packed with workshop, role play and activities to motivate the participants in the 1 day training.
On 24thFebruary 2011, QPAC successfully conducted a half day sales training for the staff and associates, at Holiday Villa Subang. All staff were present include our associate office in Ipoh.
It was a pleasant atmosphere to be able to get together with colleague and associates to relinquish back the sales skills and and talk about the company’s plan and vision in the year 2011.
We were honoured to have our CEO Miss Maria Rufina, to train us during the session and inspire us with tips on sales approach. The session was also filled up some games to create bonding among us present.
The day ended with dinner attended by all participants at Dorsett Subang and hope that 2011 will be a prosperous year for QPAC Business Consultant Sdn Bhd.
As part of our effort to continuously contribute to the society, QPAC embarked on a new project called HR Café. It is a communication platform designed to bring HR practioners together to form a HR Community to support one another.
Some of the benefits attending the HR Café are:

• Exchange of professional advises, resource and recommendations
• Room to advertise job vacancies and seeking referrals
• Acquiring new information and latest updates in the industry from key speakers
• Networking and relationship building
On the 15th of December 2010, QPAC had its very first HR Café @ Ipoh. The event was held at the Secret Garden and the speaker for the day was Mr. William Yap, the consultant trainer in the area of Human Capital Development. He gave a talk on ‘Training Senses’. After the talk, there was a round table discussion on some of the key issues currently faced by the participants who came from Teluk Intan, Tapah & Ipoh. It was a very fruitful event and everyone is looking forward to the next HR Café @ Ipoh on the 16th of March 2010

6th February 2010 marked yet another history in Q-Performance Consultant’s journey (or earlier known as QPC). After seven years in operation, QPC has now rebranded itself as QPAC Business Consultant. The Rebranding Launch was held at the Palace of Golden Horses and it was officiated by the Human Resources Minister, Y.B. Datuk Dr. S.Subramaniam.
During the launch, not only QPAC’s new logo was unveiled but also its new tagline “Impacting lives for the better”. When asked the rationale behind this tagline, the CEO, Ms. Maria Rufina said, “No doubt we are in the business of training and development, QPAC wants to be a source of inspiration to people. We regard every opportunity to train and develop people as an opportunity not be taken lightly, as it is an opportunity to impact their lives for the better.”
In line with this tagline, QPAC also pledged to contribute to the welfare of the society. For the year 2010, QPAC identified EWRF (Education, Welfare and Research Foundation) as its CSR partner. This was marked by giving away of the mock certificate to the President of EWRF, Mr Pasupathy by the Business Development Director of QPAC, Mr Raja, witnessed by HR Minister.
During this auspicious event, QPAC also announced its own tested inhouse 4 in 1 work organizing tool PROPAK, which guarantees 30% improvement in work efficiency! This will be available in the market in early March 2010.
Apart from this, many plans are in the pipeline for this training provider who not only provide services locally but also has made its mark overseas especially in the Middle East, Cambodia, Brunei and other Asian countries. The Chairman of QPAC, Dr Saiful Bahri said that QPAC aspires to introduce more and more of its own product to help the nation build a world class workforce.
This day also marks the first graduation of OXIM (Oxford Association of Management, UK) in PWTC, Malaysia. About 200 candidates’ dreams were realized. They were awarded with Diploma, CMBA and CDBA by the President of OXIM, Dr Gloria.
KSB 2010 Family Safety Day
ExxonMobil at Kemaman Supply Base (KSB) appointed QPAC to organise the KSB 2010 Family Safety Day. The event took place in two different date(s) to accommodate the entire operation team and their family. It was held at the Bukit Gambang Water Park Resort City, Kuantan on the following date(s).
Session 1: 29th - 30th October 2010
Session 2: 12th - 13th November 2010
The event started in Kemaman thru a Safety Drive with a pit stop and breakfast at the Turtle Sanctuary in Cherating. QPAC organised a couple of activities to break the ice between families. Later in the afternoon, teambuilding session was held for the employees while the family were settling in their rooms. At about 4.30pm, Telematch were held for all.
During the dinner, the fun of Family Day continued with more activities for family and kids that includes Magic Shows, Parent-Kid contest, Look A Like Contest, Cutest Baby In Town and 5 Star Rock Band and not forgetting lucky draws. The night was wrapped with the karaoke singing and many young talents were discovered. The following day, games were organised for the spouses and kids, while the employees were attending management discussion.
ExxonMobil Safety Leadership for DD3 Operations
It is the signature and culture of ExxonMobil to organise the Safety Leadership programme for all their new employees and contractors before they actually start working.
In July 2010, QPAC was once again appointed to organise the 3 days 2 Night Safety Leadership programme, after the successful completion of Safety Leadership for Tioman Drilling in March/April 2010.
Since this is the first time DD3 going to operate for ExxonMobil, therefore additional activities were incorporated such as the Personal Shield, Ship Replica, Chakde India and Exxon’s Safety Credo.
Participants were mesmerised with the flow of activities and gave testimonies that this is the best Safety Leadership programme they have ever participated and are looking forward for more to come from QPAC.
